2020-01-07: Ponderosa pines in the foothills of Santa Fe
Ponderosa pines are common at lower elevations (7,500 feet) in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains east of Santa Fe. Their deeply carved orange bark makes these trees easy to recognize.
