2019-10-08: Hiking trail in the foothills of Santa Fe
The Randall Davey Audubon Center and Sanctuary is east of Santa Fe, at the end of Upper Canyon Road. Above it are trails wandering through the pine forest that grows in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Large Ponderosa pines, with deeply carved colorful barks, are common at these elevations.
