2019-03-06: Cristo Rey church behind barbed wire fence

Designed by influential Santa Fe architect John Gaw Meem and built in 1940, the Cristo Rey Church is claimed to be the largest adobe building in the United States. John Gaw Meem is credited for standardizing the Santa Fe Style of architecture, and for contributing to protection of the architectural integrity of the city.
