Early Monsoon clouds emphasize the earth colors of the 1940 Cristo Rey church at the end of Canyon Road. The church was designed by John Gaw Meem, who had considerable influence on the Santa Fe architectural style. The church is claimed to be the largest adobe building in the United States.
