2019-06-18: The Santa Fe River in early summer
East of Santa Fe running water, a waterfall, and shady riverbanks are refreshing on hot summer days. A stone wall was built to limit erosion below the Santa Fe River waterfall. This area is much enjoyed by local inhabitants who come here to relax, meditate, walk their dogs, or to watch their children play. Being located about one mile from the Santa Fe Plaza few tourists discover this area, even if it is only one block north of the very popular Canyon Road.
