2019-12-31: Grasses in the Santa Fe foothills
There are many varieties of grasses which grow in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Trails which start at the Randall Davey Audubon Center and Sanctuary are ideal to observe plants of the Santa Fe foothills. On this last day of the year the sun is low, projecting long shadows on pale-colored snow.
